Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Titus facing right, rendered in bold relief typical of Flavian imperial portraiture. The emperor is depicted with characteristic short curly hair beneath the laurel wreath, and the drapery is visible at the truncation of the shoulder. The circular legend runs along the periphery of the coin, naming Titus in his capacity as Caesar and listing his principal magistracies. The portrait displays the vigorous, somewhat fleshy facial features associated with Flavian dynastic coinage. The field shows the patina and wear consistent with circulation use.
Obverse script Latin

(Translation: Titus Caesar Vespasianus Imperator, Pontifex [Maximus], Tribunicia Potestate, Consul Sextum. Titus Caesar Vespasianus, supreme commander (Imperator), [high] priest, holder of tribunician power, consul for the sixth time.)
