Obverse description Bare head of Tiberius facing left, rendered in fine relief with detailed physiognomic portraiture characteristic of Julio-Claudian coinage. The legend encircles the effigy, distributed across the upper and lower fields. The portrait displays a strong jawline and close-cropped hair rendered with individual strands, consistent with official Augustan-era workshop standards. The flan is slightly irregular, as typical of hammered provincial output from the Lugdunum mint.
