Reverse description The reverse features the large senatorial authorisation monogram SC (Senatus Consulto) prominently displayed in the centre of the field, rendered in bold raised letters. Surrounding the SC, a continuous legend in Latin capital letters runs clockwise around the entire periphery of the coin. The plain field emphasises the authority of the senatorial mark, a hallmark of Roman imperial bronze coinage of this period. The lettering, though worn in areas, remains largely legible against the flat ground.
