Reverse description The personification of Pudicitia (Modesty/Chastity) seated left on an ornate high-backed throne, shown veiled and draped, raising her right hand to arrange her veil in the characteristic gesture of modesty. The figure is depicted in a stately, composed posture consistent with Hadrianic reverse iconography. The legend PVDICITIA appears in the field around the figure, and the senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consulto) is prominently placed in the exergue below the throne.
