Reverse description The personification of Pax (Peace) is depicted seated left upon a high-backed throne, draped in a flowing stola. She extends her right hand forward to offer an olive branch, a symbol of peace and reconciliation, while her left hand holds a long vertical sceptre. The composition is spacious with an open field to the left, and the senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently placed in the exergue below the throne. A beaded border encircles the design.
