Reverse description Reverse bears the large senatorial authorisation monogram S·C (Senatus Consulto) prominently displayed in the central field, the letters rendered in bold relief occupying most of the flan. The surrounding legend runs continuously around the outer edge of the coin, naming Domitian with his full imperial titulature. The field is otherwise plain and unadorned, consistent with standard Flavian sestertius reverse design. The coin shows characteristic green patination and surface wear consistent with circulation.
