| Obverse description | Bare-shouldered, laureate bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered with characteristic beard and finely detailed curled hair beneath the laurel wreath. The effigy displays strong, realistic portraiture typical of Hadrianic coinage, with the emperor's distinctive physiognomy captured in high relief. The circumferential Latin legend runs along the border of the flan, partially visible despite some edge damage to the coin. |
