| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped bust of Hadrian facing right, depicted with his characteristic short curly hair and full beard, rendered in high relief with naturalistic portraiture typical of Hadrianic court art. The emperor's paludamentum is visible at the truncation of the shoulder, with drapery folds executed with fine detail. The surrounding field carries the imperial titulature legend in raised Latin capitals distributed around the periphery.
