| Obverse description | Bare-headed, laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with the paludamentum visible at the shoulder, rendered in the characteristic Hadrianic style with a short curly beard. The imperial effigy is depicted with naturalistic portraiture typical of the Antonine period, the head slightly turned to present a three-quarter profile. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer rim of the flan. The coin's surface displays the dark patina and wear consistent with circulation use, with the flan showing the irregular edges typical of hammered production. |
