Reverse description The personification of Spes (Hope) depicted as a standing female figure advancing left, wearing a long flowing stola and palla. In her raised right hand she holds a flower, while her left hand gathers and lifts the hem of her robe in the standard Spes typology. The senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently placed in the field to either side of the figure, and the reverse legend is distributed along the periphery.
