| Obverse description | Bare-headed, laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered with fine portraiture detail including a closely cropped curly beard characteristic of Hadrian's mature coinage. The paludamentum drapes over the left shoulder, visible from the rear. The effigy is executed in high relief with carefully articulated facial features, conveying imperial gravitas. The encircling Latin legend is distributed around the periphery of the field within a beaded border. |
