| Reverse description | The personification of Liberalitas stands facing front, head turned slightly to the right, draped in a long stola and rendered in fine relief upon a ground line. She extends her right arm forward, holding a tessera or abacus, and cradles a cornucopia in her left arm, its abundance directed downward in reference to the imperial largesse. The senatorial authority monogram S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently placed in the field to either side of the central figure, flanking her at mid-height. The encircling reverse legend identifies the type and records Hadrian's titles. |
