| Obverse lettering | HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS (Translation: Hadrianus Augustus. Hadrian, emperor (Augustus).) |
| Reverse description | The personification of Justitia (Justice) seated left on a high-backed throne, draped in flowing robes, extending a patera in her right hand and holding a long sceptre upright in her left. The senatorial mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is placed in the left and right fields respectively, flanking the enthroned figure. The legend IVSTITIA AVG P P runs along the upper periphery, with COS III inscribed in the exergue, all in Latin capital letters. The composition reflects the classicising sculptural style characteristic of Hadrianic coinage. |
