| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Hadrian facing left, depicted from the rear or side, with the emperor's characteristic short beard visible in profile. The effigy displays the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder, rendered in the restrained classical style typical of Hadrianic portraiture. The encircling Latin legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits a green and brown patina consistent with orichalcum sestertii of the period, with the irregular flan edge characteristic of hand-hammered production. |
