| Obverse description | Bare-headed and bearded bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, draped over the left shoulder, depicted in high relief with characteristic short curled hair and clipped beard typical of Hadrianic portraiture. The effigy is rendered in a naturalistic Hellenistic style, with the paludamentum visible at the shoulder truncation. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border of the coin field. |
