Reverse description A large Roman galley under full sail moves to the left, depicted with considerable detail: oars along the hull, a helmsman at the stern, a military standard at the prow, and figures visible on deck. The mainsail bears the partial inscription FELICITATI AVGVSTI across two lines. The letters S and C (Senatus Consultum) are placed in the left and right fields respectively, while the consular and honorific titles appear in the exergue below the ship, all within a beaded border.
