| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in the naturalistic portrait style characteristic of Hadrianic coinage. The emperor's features are depicted with close-cropped hair and the short beard that became his hallmark and a fashion statement for subsequent Roman emperors. The encircling Latin legend reads HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait exhibits strong, high-relief modelling typical of the orichalcum sestertii of this period. |

| Reverse description | The personification of Felicitas depicted as a draped female figure standing facing left in a dignified contrapposto pose, extending a branch in her right hand and holding a tall caduceus vertically in her left. The senatorial authorisation marks S and C (Senatus Consultum) are placed symmetrically in the left and right fields respectively, flanking the central figure. The reverse legend FELICITAS AVG is disposed around the upper periphery of the coin, with the S C marks occupying the mid-field. The composition conveys the ideological message of prosperity and good fortune under Hadrian's reign. |
