Reverse description A frontal view of a grand decastyle temple — identified as the Temple of the Deified Trajan — depicted with ten columns supporting a decorated entablature and a triangular pediment bearing central statuary groupings. Sculptural acroteria and figures adorn the roofline and apex of the pediment. The structure rests upon a stepped podium (stylobate), rendered in fine architectural detail typical of Hadrianic coinage commemorating his building programme. The legend and senatorial authority marks appear divided in the field, with S C flanking the temple and EX S C inscribed above or within the exergual area.
