Reverse description Fortuna Redux, personification of fortune that ensures safe return, seated left on a throne or chair, draped in flowing robes. She holds a long rudder downward in her left hand, resting on the ground, and a cornucopia in her right hand, symbolising prosperity and abundance. The senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) appears divided across the field to either side of the figure, while the legend COS III P P is distributed around the upper periphery and FORT RED is inscribed in the exergue.
