Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian III facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Pisidian Antioch. The emperor's youthful effigy is shown with paludamentum and body armour visible below the shoulder. The circular Latin legend IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG runs around the periphery of the flan. The portrait displays the characteristic bold, slightly coarse engraving associated with this colonial mint. The flan is broad and irregular, consistent with hammered provincial bronze coinage of the mid-third century AD.

Reverse description A she-wolf standing left, suckling the twins Romulus and Remus who are depicted beneath her, evoking the foundational myth of Rome and affirming the city's status as a Roman colony. A branch appears above in the field to the left. The Latin colonial legend CAES ANTIOCH COL encircles the upper portion of the field, while the letters S R appear in the exergue, denoting Senatus Romanus or serving as a value/authority mark. The reverse type reflects Pisidian Antioch's pride in its Roman colonial identity, a theme common to its civic bronze coinage under Gordian III.
