| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, depicted in the military imperial style typical of mid-third-century Roman provincial coinage. The effigy shows the emperor wearing a radiate crown, paludamentum, and cuirass, rendered with characteristic provincial workmanship. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, identifying the emperor with his imperial titulature. The flan is irregular, as is common for provincially struck bronzes of this period. |
