| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Galba facing right, rendered in high relief with characteristically aged, stern facial features typical of his portraiture. The paludamentum is visible at the truncation, fastened at the shoulder. A radiate wreath of laurel crowns the head, rendered with fine detail. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the obverse field, identifying the emperor by his full imperial titulature. |
