| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Galba facing left, with a mature, aged portrait rendered in the veristic Roman tradition, displaying prominent facial features characteristic of Julio-Claudian-era portraiture. The emperor's bust is bare or lightly draped at the truncation. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP SER GALBA AVG TR P, distributed around the periphery of the field. The portrait conveys the stern, authoritative character typical of Galba's brief reign coinage, struck at the Rome mint during AD 68–69. |

| Reverse description | Victory advancing left, depicted as a winged female figure in flowing drapery, holding a wreath extended in her right hand and a palm branch in her left. The figure is rendered in dynamic striding pose with large spread wings visible behind her, conveying the martial triumph associated with the new Galban regime. The senatorial authorisation mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently displayed in the field to the right of the figure. A partial beaded border frames the reverse field. |
