Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Galba facing right, rendered in high relief with finely engraved portraiture characteristic of the Julio-Claudian tradition. The emperor is depicted as an aged, sharp-featured individual, consistent with his historical appearance. The obverse legend runs clockwise around the periphery within a plain border. The overall style reflects the transitional workshops of the Year of the Four Emperors, combining late Neronian die-cutting conventions with a new imperial identity.
