Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Galba facing right, rendered in the Roman imperial portrait style characteristic of the brief Galbан reign. The effigy displays the emperor's aged features with a wreath of laurel encircling the head. The surrounding field bears the imperial titulature legend arranged in a circle around the portrait. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show heavy green patination typical of excavated bronze coinage of the first century AD.
