Reverse description Galba, clad in military paludamentum, stands facing right atop a raised tribunal platform accompanied by an officer behind him. Below the platform, two soldiers face the emperor in attendance: one bearing a shield and legionary standard, the other a shield and spear, with a horse positioned between them. Two additional soldiers are visible behind the group, standing right and carrying a vexillum and two spears respectively, while an aquila standard is depicted in the foreground. The scene commemorates an imperial allocution, rendered with characteristic Roman historical relief narrative. The abbreviated legend and senatorial decree mark appear in the field.
