Obverse description Jugate busts of two rulers facing right, the foremost bust diademed and draped, wearing a turreted or stephane crown, with long hair rendered in flowing locks; the second bust, bearded and radiate, visible behind. The Greek royal legend ΒΑϹΙΛΕΩϹ ΕΥΠΑΤΟΡΟϹ encircles the field, reading 'of King Eupator', within a beaded border. The portraiture reflects the Hellenistic artistic tradition of the Bosporan royal court, combining local dynastic imagery with Roman provincial coin conventions.

Reverse description The denomination mark ΜΗ (numerically equivalent to 48 units) inscribed in large Greek letters at the centre of the field, enclosed within a laurel wreath tied at the base with a decorative bow or knot; a globus or round object surmounts the wreath at the apex. The design is plain and functional, emphasising the denominational value in the tradition of Bosporan bronze coinage, with no additional symbols or marks in the field.
