Obverse description Laureate bust of Domitian facing right, draped at the shoulder, rendered in high relief with strong portraiture typical of Flavian die-cutting. The circumferential legend runs around the effigy in Latin capitals, partially worn but legible. A small aegis or drapery fold is visible at the bust truncation. The portrait conveys the characteristic physiognomy associated with Domitianic coinage of the late 80s AD.
