| Obverse description | Laureate head of Domitian facing right, depicted with strong portraiture characteristic of Flavian imperial coinage. The emperor's bust is shown draped and laureate, with the wreath rendered in fine detail against a flat field. The circular legend surrounds the effigy, reading from lower left around the full periphery of the flan.
