Obverse description Laureate bust of Domitian facing right, draped with aegis visible at the shoulder, rendered in high relief with bold portraiture characteristic of Flavian imperial coinage. The emperor's effigy displays finely detailed laurel wreath and strong facial features. The encircling legend runs along the periphery of the flan in Latin capitals. The overall style reflects the official workshop production of the Rome mint under Domitian's reign.
