| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of the Emperor Caligula (Gaius Caesar Augustus Germanicus) facing left, rendered in the provincial portraiture style typical of Hispanian mints. The effigy displays bold, slightly schematic facial features consistent with Julio-Claudian iconography. The circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, reading G CAESAR AVG GERMANICVS IMP PATER PATRIAE, with the abbreviated title CCA visible at the lower portion of the field. The flan is irregular and shows typical surface patination of a circulated provincial bronze. |
