Obverse description Three standing togate male figures arranged frontally on individual bases: Augustus at centre, elevated and holding a simpulum (priestly ladle) in his right hand, flanked by his grandsons Gaius Caesar on the right and Lucius Caesar on the left. The figures are rendered in a formal, hieratic style characteristic of Augustan provincial coinage. The surrounding legend names the three imperial figures in Latin characters.
