| Obverse description | Facing bucranium (ox skull) with horns encircled by a garland, rendered in bold relief against a plain field. The legend C·ANTIVS curves around the device, identifying the moneyer Caius Antius Restio. The design is characteristic of the late Roman Republican series, with the bucranium serving as a sacrificial symbol evoking religious and ancestral imagery. The flan is small and irregular, consistent with the quarter-denomination sestertius of the period. |

| Reverse description | A lit sacrificial altar depicted facing, with flames rising from its top, set upon a base rendered in simple but recognizable form. The legend RESTIO is inscribed horizontally across the field, flanking the altar and completing the moneyer's name in conjunction with the obverse legend. The altar type reinforces the religious iconographic program of the issue, referencing the lex Antia sumptuaria associated with the Antia gens. The die work is compact and unrefined, consistent with the small module of the denomination. |
