Obverse description Draped and crowned bust of King Ousanas facing right, the right hand raised holding a spear; the effigy is flanked on either side by wheat stalks rendered in low relief. A disc resting on a crescent appears above the royal portrait. The entire design is encircled by a Greek legend arranged around the periphery of the flan.

Reverse description Draped bust of King Ousanas facing right, the head covered by a headcloth in lieu of a crown; the right hand holds a fly-whisk or ceremonial whisk. As on the obverse, wheat stalks flank the royal portrait on both sides, and a disc on crescent device appears in the upper field. A Greek legend encircles the design around the periphery of the irregularly shaped hammered flan.
