Obverse description Laureate head of Tiberius facing right, depicted with a draped bust in the Roman provincial style. The portrait shows strong, classicizing features characteristic of Julio-Claudian imperial iconography. The surrounding legend reads TI CAESAR AVGVST F IMP in Latin characters, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hammered municipal coinage of Hispania Tarraconensis.
