| Obverse description | Bare head of Nero facing left, with a small globe at the point of the neck truncation, rendered in the robust portraiture style characteristic of his later coinage. The emperor's features are depicted with pronounced neck musculature and curled hair framing the brow. The encircling legend runs clockwise in well-spaced Latin capitals around the periphery of the flan. The overall composition is centered and typical of Neronian bronze issues struck under senatorial authority. |
