Obverse description Laureate bust of Nero facing right, rendered in the Julio-Claudian portrait tradition with characteristic thick neck and idealized features. The emperor is depicted with a radiate or laureate wreath, consistent with semis denomination iconography of the period. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery of the flan, partially obscured by wear and surface patination. The die-work reflects the official Roman Imperial mint style of the mid-Neronian period, with the portrait occupying the central field.
