| Reverse description | A recumbent or standing animal figure, likely a bull or horse, occupies the central reverse field, consistent with the iconographic conventions of Celtiberian and early Roman colonial coinage from the Ebro valley region. The figure is rendered in a simplified, provincial style with minimal relief surviving due to considerable wear and surface corrosion. The magistrates' names appear in the surrounding legend, divided across the field. The reverse composition is typical of the semis denomination issued at Celsa under the duoviri L. Calpurnius and Sex. Aninius (or Nigellus), as referenced in RPC I#267. |
