Obverse description Male head facing right, depicted in a crude, provincial style characteristic of Hispanian municipal bronze coinage of the late Republican period. The portrait is rendered with minimal detail, with traces of facial features discernible despite heavy wear and surface corrosion. The legend IRIPPO arcs around the periphery of the field, identifying the issuing municipality. The flan is irregular in shape, consistent with hand-struck provincial issues of this era.
