| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Jupiter or Saturn facing right, rendered in the local Hispano-Roman style characteristic of the Carteia mint. The effigy displays a bearded profile with a wreath or radiate crown, typical of the Iberian semis denomination. The field is worn and patinated with a deep green encrustation consistent with prolonged burial. The value mark S (semis) appears in the field to the left of the bust. |
