Reverse description Bare male head facing right, identified with Augustus or a local magistrate, depicted in a plain, unadorned style typical of provincial Numidian civic coinage under Roman influence. The portrait occupies the central field, with the neck truncation visible at the lower edge. A Latin legend appears in the right field and along the periphery, naming the magistrate Publius Sittius in his capacity as quattuorvir. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show significant patination consistent with ancient bronze.
