| Reverse description | The crowned coat of arms of the Lordship of Bergh, displaying a rampant lion, is set upon a floriated cross whose four terminals each terminate in a stylized lion head or lion passant. The cross divides the field into four quadrants, each adorned with decorative foliage in the Gothic manner. The heraldic shield is surmounted by a crown in high relief. A continuous circular Latin legend in uncial script, punctuated by star-shaped stops, surrounds the entire composition and reads as a devotional or protective formula. |
