| Obverse description | The obverse presents bold Naskh-style Arabic calligraphy arranged in three horizontal registers divided by ruled lines across the coin's field. The central panel bears the principal legend invoking the Mughal imperial title, with the name and epithet of the nominal sovereign Muhammad Bahadur Shah prominently displayed.
