Reverse description The reverse presents a three-register Persian inscription in Nastaliq script, likewise separated by horizontal ruled lines and filling the entire flan. The upper register bears the pious formula invoking the perpetuation of the ruler's reign, the central register records the mint name Kabul (کابل), and the lower register carries the regnal year in Eastern Arabic numerals. Star-shaped ornamental punctuation marks are interspersed between words in the central register. The fabric is hammered and slightly irregular, consistent with provincial Afsharid mint practice at Kabul.
