| Reverse description | The reverse displays a central cartouche enclosed within a beaded circular border, containing the mint name and regnal year in Nasta'liq script. The upper portion of the cartouche bears a floral rosette ornament, while the inscription reads 'Zarb Daghistan 1154' (Struck at Daghistan, AH 1154), denoting production at the Daghistan (Derbent) mint in the year corresponding to 1741 CE. The surrounding field beyond the beaded border is left plain and shows the characteristic irregular flan edges of hammered Afsharid coinage. The overall design is compact and centred, typical of the Type D rupee series issued under Nader Shah. |
