| Obverse description | Multi-line calligraphic inscription in Persian nastaliq script filling the entire field, arranged in three principal horizontal bands separated by ruled lines. The flowing script, characteristic of the Zand period under Karim Khan, bears the royal titulature and invocation in an elaborate cursive style. Dotted ornaments punctuate the margins between the inscription bands. The irregular flan edges, typical of hammered coinage of this era, frame the text without a formal border. |
