Obverse description Hammered silver flan bearing the royal Persian legend of Aurangzeb Alamgir arranged in three horizontal registers divided by raised lines across the field. The inscription, reading right to left in flowing Naskh script, occupies the full face of the coin. The irregular, slightly convex flan surface displays the characteristic texture of hand-struck Mughal-style coinage, with the legend portions in bold relief against a granular field.
