| Obverse description | The obverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line Nagari legend arranged across the coin's surface, with a stylised lotus flower device prominently positioned in the upper central area of the field. The bold, deeply struck Devanagari characters fill the flan from rim to rim in the characteristic style of early nineteenth-century Indian feudatory coinage. The lotus, a sacred and heraldic symbol associated with the issuing authority of Bajranggarh, rises above the inscribed lines. The striking is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-hammered production methods typical of small princely state mints of the period. |
