| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan bearing the royal titulature of the Mughal emperor Ahmad Shah Bahadur in two lines of Nastaliq script across the field, divided by a horizontal line. The upper register carries the imperial epithet and name, while the lower register bears supplementary titles. The legends are rendered in a characteristic Mughal calligraphic style, with pellet ornaments visible in the field. The overall strike is typical of mid-eighteenth-century Mughal provincial coinage, with slightly uneven margins consistent with hand-hammered production. |
