Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Elizaveta I facing right, wearing an elaborate pearl-studded crown and imperial robes with an ornate epaulette visible on the right shoulder. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque court style characteristic of mid-18th century Russian coinage. The mint mark СПБ appears in the lower field beneath the bust truncation.
